Ginnie Sandoval is the founder and editor of Pacific Northwest Crossing. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she has formed a deep connection to the place she has always called home. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, she began working as a journalist with a primary focus on regional reporting.
Ginnie created Pacific Northwest Crossing to bring together her love of writing, travel, and the region she knows best. Based in Oregon, she frequently travels throughout Oregon and Washington in search of stories and experiences that build on her lifelong connection to the PNW.
Through reporting and firsthand exploration, Ginnie covers the local news, destinations, history, and experiences that shape communities across both states. She enjoys learning about the people, food, history, and experiences that give each destination its identity.
She hopes her work encourages readers to stay curious, explore more, and develop a deeper appreciation for the Pacific Northwest.
