RoozenGaarde offers one of the largest tulip gardens in Washington

RoozenGaarde is now welcoming visitors for the 2026 tulip season.

The Mount Vernon garden, one of the largest and most recognizable stops during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, typically opens in late March as fields begin to bloom across the region.

Spanning more than 50 acres, RoozenGaarde combines expansive tulip fields with a carefully designed display garden that is replanted each year.

Visitors can walk through patterned beds of tulips and daffodils, with more than a million bulbs and hundreds of varieties featured throughout the season.

The garden is known for its wide-open views and photo-ready settings, including a traditional Dutch windmill and sweeping backdrops of the Cascade foothills.

Paved and gravel paths guide visitors through both the display areas and surrounding fields, making it one of the most accessible stops in the valley.

A gift shop and on-site vendors offer snacks, drinks, and seasonal items, while fresh-cut flowers and bulbs are available for purchase during the festival.
